Rental Home Repairs
Our client has a rental home that had a leak in it’s entry way and garage. He needed the leak fixed so it would no longer allow water into the home! After checking out the problem, we bid to re-shingle around the affected area which was the whole valley running down to the roof to wall.
We first pulled up all the old shingles and found that the tar paper underneath was torn in the valley. This was a problem because the tar paper was the last line of defense for keeping moisture out of the home. We replaced the felt with ice and water shield underlayment then installed new shingles in the valley.
Roof Repair Results
This job turned out great! The tenant was happy to have the work done. It was a bit messy at the outside entrance for a few hours but we cleaned up everything nicely once we were done! Tom was happy to have the home repaired completely so he didn’t have to worry about it anymore
