On October 18, 2013, our client in Fayetteville GA had a power vent that was leaking. This power vent was the original one that came with the home. It was made of plastic and had cracked in the past so it leaked like a sieve. He needed this power vent changed out and replaced with a new one. He also needed the shingles around the vent replaced. The decking below the vent was rotten so he needed that replaced as well.

We bid to take out the old power vent, tear out all the old messed up shingles and rotten plywood decking. We would then install new plywood decking, cover it with ice and water shield underlayment, then install new shingles and a new power vent.

In order to complete this job in Fayetteville 30215, we did exactly what we bid to do. We tore out all the old shingles. This made it possible to access the power vent. We then threw out the old power vent. Once the power vent was gone, we tore out all the bad decking and replaced it with new, non-rotten decking. Once the decking was in place, we covered it with ice and water shield. Lastly, we installed the power vent and new shingles.
