Peachtree Place has seventeen buildings that they manage. Some of these buildings have a lot of roofing and soffit damage. This particular building is a tile roof and it was failing where the valley runs down onto field tile causing a huge problem with the plywood, fascia, soffit and gutter. Also, it was leaking through the attic and messing up the ceiling below in the hallway. They needed their roof repaired quickly as to not damage the ceiling anymore.

How We Do Tile Roof Repairs
We bid to pull up all the tile in the problem area, pull out all the rotted wood decking and cut away and rebuild any rotted framing. Additionally we planned to replace the plywood, fascia and soffit, install new ice and water shield underlayment and reinstall the tile. These all needed to be replaced because the plywood, fascia, and soffit all provides support for the roof and because they were rotted, they could not provide proper support.
In order to complete this job, we had to build scaffolding because it was three stories up. Then all the tile had to be removed and stacked up above the work area. We then cut away all the rotted plywood and framing and rebuilt it, we then installed new ice and water shield underlayment and replaced the tile. The gutter was removed and reinstalled. We did this to rebuild the fascia and soffit.
This damaged tile roof has been a problem for this client for a while so they were relieved to have it fixed finally. Seven other buildings in these condos also have roofing problems that we bid on. We will begin working on building #14 next week.
