Our client was Mr. Hale. He had a rental home in Atlanta that had a leak and he needed us to find the leak and fix it. We told him that we could guarantee we would be able to find the leak and fix it .
How We Repaired This Roof Leak
The roof was pretty new, so the client was shocked that it had such a bad leak so soon after being reroofed. We were able to find the leak as soon as we got on the roof because the previous roofers had punched a hole through the shingles right below where a piece of decking had popped up. This extra nail caused a flat spot and a weakness in the area. In order to fix the roof, we sealed up the hole. We continued to inspect the roof and found a ripped pipe boot that needed sealing as it was allowing water into the attic. We sealed that as well.
