There are a handful of reasons why we love the Hitachi 4 Gallon Double-Stack Air Compressor.
Portable - This compressor is light and easily mobile. It allows us to easily transport it to any and all kinds of job sites.
Durable - We knew that Hitachi had a recognized reputation for quality. We proudly add our stamp of approval on that reputation. This compressor is used in the hot and humid, Georgia summer sun as well as the chilly and brisk winter days. It stands up to the test in all conditions.
Adjustable - What many people don't consider about roof shingle installation is the appropriate air pressure to nail with. If too high pressure is used, the nails are driven right through the shingles... leaving them incorrectly installed. The Hitachi 4 Gallon allows us to easily adjust the air pressure and appropriately secure the nails without damaging the shingles in the process.
We know that this product is readily equipped to handle long and grueling days of abuse. Thank you to Hitachi for providing a stable solution when it comes to finding the best air compressor around.

I started roofing in the mid 80's in San Jose California. The building codes in California are very strict. I became very meticulous in my trade in order to simply pass roof inspections. The building inspectors in CA would fail a roof if they noticed even just a few nails misplaced out of the 10,000's of nails on a residential roof. That set the standard for our work. Not a single nail misplaced and no corner overlooked.
12 years later, in 1994, I moved to Peachtree City, GA with my family; and promptly fell in love with the area. You wouldn't believe my amazement at the lack of building codes that existed in GA. As I began doing residential and commercial roofing projects, I sometimes wondered if the roofs even had a single nail that was placed in the correct position. I found roofs that had no tar paper underlayment at all. Roof flashing was seldomly found to be installed correctly.
Even today, in 2016, the building codes in GA do not compare to the rigid set of standards in CA. That doesn't stop me however from performing every job to the highest standard. I was quickly able to establish a high reputation for quality craftsmanship that stands out in the industry. I attribute it to my training in California under intense scrutiny.
