Our client had a lot of hail damage on her roof, so her insurance company gave her money to have a roof replacement. We have serviced three homes in this same neighborhood, and this client had seen us do her neighbor’s work so she contacted us. We bid to re roof her roof for her. This job took place on October 23rd and 24th.
Roof Replacement Process
The material was delivered the day before and the dumpster was dropped off at the house that same morning. We started the tear off first thing that morning. The tear off includes stripping all the old shingles, felt paper,and nails. Because the entire roof was damaged, we had to take off all the old material. Once the roof was stripped, we re-felted with 15 pound felt paper over the entire roof. Then we began shingling with 30 year architectural shingles.
