PTC Shingle Roof Repair
This shingle roof repair in Peachtree City took place on July 2nd, 2013. The homeowner found me through a business group referral. I was able to point out to him the problems on his roof. I used pictures to show him the problematic areas. I gave him a bid to fix them, and he called me to give me the go ahead on the job.
Description
The customer had three major leaks coming into his home and wanted them fixed. We bid to fix the three areas in question. There were also about 12 slipped and missing shingles, so we needed to fix those as well.
Method
While we were fixing this job, the weather was pretty bad. We were able to complete the job through the inclement weather so when the larger storms came, the customer’s home would be protected. We first took care of the leaks by changing out all the problem shingles in those areas. We then changed out all the slipped and missing shingles. Finally, we changed out the bad 3 inch PVC pipe boot. We come across pipe boot repairs very often, so this was a quick fix.
This job turned out extremely well. We were happy that we could finish it before the terrible weather rolled in, and the homeowners appreciated our work. They had previously had other roofing companies try to fix their leaking shingle roof, but they could never identify the problem. We were able to identify and fix the leaking roof.
