E.M. Blue has recently done a job in Peachtree City with soffit and fascia roof repairs. Our client had a nice home in Peachtree City with a decent roof on it, but one area of the roof had a poor design. It didn’t leak, but water was forced onto an area that needed a small hog valley built and roofed over. The original design had water going between a narrow opening between the roof and a dormer roof. There were also some missing shingles that we replaced.

Upon examination, we bid to take off the shingles in the affected area and rebuild the soffit and fascia that the water had rotted out. We would then build a small hog valley and roof over it with a modified bitumen roofing system, then reshingle over that material.

We first tore off all the shingles on the three sides that came down into the problem area. We then tore out all the rotted fascia and soffit and rebuilt it. We then built a small hog valley in the area to allow water to run over instead of into the soffit. This was followed by the installation of the modified bitumen roofing system, then finally we shingled over it.
